Lesser Snow Goose Data
Estimates of abundance, recruitment, and harvest for the Lesser Snow
Goose population wintering on the Fraser River (BC) and Skagit (WA) deltas.
Totals are mean values computed from several photo counts (N) conducted
between December and March each winter. SE = Standard Error. The young
are expressed in numbers and percent of total birds. Harvest represents
the total number of geese (adults plus young) taken by hunters on the
2 deltas each year.
